Do you prefer 'digital sex' to real life sex?

Thanks to technology, these days you don't have to be anywhere near your latest squeeze to have a thrilling session in the sack - and apparently loads of us prefer it that way. Yes, somewhat bafflingly, according to a new survey one fifth of us prefer 'digital sex' - that includes sexting, video or webcam cyber-sex and sending explicit photos via Snapchat - to real life sex. Why? It's 'less embarrassing', they said. Eh?

Worryingly, the latest study, by CyberCompare.net, revealed that of the 1,612 men and women aged 18+ surveyed, one in ten said that they don't actually enjoy physical sex. Instead, they liked the 'thrill and fantasy of digital encounters'. Right.

Now that one in three of all our sexual encounters is online, it's not surprising there's been a shift in attitude towards how we approach bedroom antics. And there's certainly something to be said for the odd Not Suitable For Work text or pic, especially if you're in a long-distance relationship or away from your other half. But surely sex is only truly great when you're, y'know, actually in the same room? And, as for embarrassment, is there anything worse than the trail of media documenting your last 'encounter' lingering on your phone? No, no there isn't.

So do you have a digital sex drive? Or are you ditching the phone for something altogether more physical…?

AND ANOTHER THING...
10 problems only short people (like me) understand

Oscars night must have been a whirlwind of emotions for Liza Minelli. The 5ft3 legend thought she'd bagged a spot in Ellen Degeneres' celebrity selfie aka The Social Media Event Of 2014, but was too short to be seen through the crowd of mega-stars in front of her. Poor Liza. As a 5ft2 lady myself I feel her pain. Here are 10 problems only short people understand.

1. The hand rails on tubes are too high to reach. Fact.
2. And you often end up face first in other commuters' armpits
3. You only take selfies with friends if they're doing the awkward squatting thing
4. Or you have to wear staggeringly high heels to even things out
5. You roll-up your jeans and you don't live in Dalston
6. And one day you'd like to wear a pair of high-top sneakers without looking stumpy. Just once.
4. 'Oh, it's okay I don't need to see the gig anyway…'
8. You get mistaken for the work experience in the office
9. And you're bored of getting called cute/adorable
10. 'I can't find Kate?!' *Looks down…*
